Saligao: Siolim MLA Vinod Palyekar has said that works of asphalting and hot mixing of all the the major roads in siolim constituency will commence from the this month and assured that most of the roads will get a new look by November end.
He was speaking to reporters after inaugurating the works of hot mixing of an three internal roads at Verla Canca in the presence of panch member sagar Lingudkar and villagers. the villagers were demanding that the work of the road had to be taken up as the roads had been in a dilapidated condition making it difficult for the motorists to travel on roads due to the deep potholes which had even given rise to a number of accidents as the motorists had to ride precariously while trying to avoid the potholes so paying heed to the demands of the Locals MLA Palyekar got the work sanctioned through the PWD and commenced the work of asphalting the roads
“with the assistance of the panch members and all the people of Verla Canca we are able to undertake a lot of developemental works and i am thankful for the people for their assistance towards the refurbishing of the roads ” said Palyekar
” I will invite the PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar to come to Siolim constituency to inaugurate the works of the remaining roads as this issue was pending for a long time so PWD minister has promised us to come and inaugurate the the works “Palyekar further said adding that by November end most of the roads will get a new makeover
