North Goa Congress District Committee slams Chief Minister Sawant for recently warning voters in Goa ahead of the assembly election.

The North Goa Congress District Committee President, Vijay Bhike slams Chief Minister Sawant for recently warning voters in Goa ahead of the assembly election. While addressing the media CM said on Friday, “Let any party try anything but there is no scope for any other party in Goa. BJP will form the government in the 2022 elections and Congress will be in opposition,”
Vijay Bhike highlighted that people have voted out the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Madhya Pradesh after giving it three consecutive terms. The same thing will happen in Goa in the upcoming assembly elections. The return of the Congress is not only an acceptance of Rahul Gandhi as a leader but BJP leaders should take note of the rise of the Congress leader.
“The personal loyalty of voters for BJP and the charisma of Pramod Sawant will not save the day for the BJP in Goa. The decline in the voter base in the last election is a warning sign for the BJP. This shows the anti-incumbency wave against both the centre and state BJP governments is real,” said Bhike.
“People are annoyed because of demonetization, implementation of the goods and services tax (GST), mining ban, coal, taxi issue, hike in petroleum products and essential commodities,” he added.
People not only in Goa but across the country, angered by the BJP’s arrogance and misrule. This election they can try hard by luring voters with tall promises but Congress will show them the door to power.
