Despite Pandemic sales at Bardez bazzar co operative society picking up: chairperson
Saligao: despite the COVID-19 pandemic still raging ,the sales of Bardez baazar has not dwindled but instead has picked up to a great extent this year feels the chairperson of Bardez bazzar .
speaking to reporters Chairperson of Bardez Baazar Co-operative society Poonam Azgaonkar said that despite the Pandemic the sales have shot up and the bardez bazaar has not suffered any losses as the people are coming forward to make purchases .
“last time the sales were affected but this time the growth is good and the customers have bestowed faith in the supermarket of the Bardez Bazaar Co-Operative Society” Said Azgaonkar
The co-operative is going to be celebrated from the 14th till the 20th of this month and bardez Bazzar has come with a new concept this time The Co-operative week will be celebrated by the registrar of co-operative society in collaboration with union so bardez bazzar along with Saraswat school will celebrate the programme on 18th of this month at the school hall. Bardez Bazzar will also celebrate the week with an aim of giving a platform for all the self help groups to sell their products.
“this programme will give the women a platform to showcase their entrepreneurship skills” said Azgaonkar .
“i urge the people to come forward and support this women self help groups to help their business grow” Chairlerson further stated
As part of the ongoing membership drive bardez bazaar is intending to enroll nominal members for a fee of rs 60 wherein the members can avail of the two percent discounts on several products sold at the bazzar.
