GOANS WILL REALLY CELEBRATE DIWALI ON DAY OF ELECTION RESULTS
Mapuca – Today is the begining of killing of various demons created by the most insensitive BJP Governments in last ten years. Goans will now start killing every demon in the days ahead and finally celebrate Diwali on the assembly election day in 2022 after the creators of all these demons are defeated and sent home thundered Congress President Girish Chodankar.
Addressing Congress Workers gathered at the Anti-Price Rise Protest March in Mapuca, Congress President appealed to the people to bear the hardships just for three more months. He said Congress Government after coming to power will provide relief to people within a weeks time. GPCC President along with Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat and large number Congress Functionaries later burnt the effigy of “Mhargaisur” on the eve of Diwali.
People have suffered enough and time has come to teach a lesson to the most irresponsible BJP Government. The change has begun and Goa will create history with a massive Congress Victory in the Assembly Elections which will eventually wipe out BJP from the Centre said Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat.
Congress MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco appealed to the people to ensure the victory of people friendly Congress. We will see to it that every goan remains happy under our regime he said.
Former Union Minister Adv. Ramakant Khalap, Youth Congress President Varad Mardolkar, Mahila President Beena Naik, Congress Vice President Babi Bagkar, Media Department Chairman Amarnath Panjikar, Ex Minister Sangeeta Parab and others spoke and condemned the misrule of BJP Government.
North Goa District President Vijay Bhike welcomed and Former MLA Agnelo Fernandes proposed vote of thanks . CPIM Leader Dr. Vivek Monteiro also spoke during the protests. Other leaders of CPMI also attended the protests and extended support to the Congress agitation.
Earlier, huge protest march alongwith effigy of “Mhargaisur” kept on Bullock Cart was taken from Khorlim to Bodgeshwar Temple precinct. Traditional Dhol Tashe were at the forefront of the protest march with anti-bjp slogans given by Congress functionaries.
