According to sources, the deceased along with his brother were going towards their room so while they were going towards their home they took shelter in a hut made of plastic but his brother did not realise that he was struck by lightning.
its only when he did not respond to his persistant calling that his brother realised that something is wrong he immediately alerted some people nearby and they rushed to the spot and took him to hospital at Kasarvarne Pernem but he succumbed while on his way the hospital.
