With regards to the complaint by GOACAN about the encroachment at the KTC Bus Stand Mapusa for the proposed Tea Stall the Directorate of Transport and Deputy Director (Admin) Nancy Fernandes has written to the KTCL Managing Director to immediately verify the contents of the complaint through a site inspection and take necessary steps.
In the letter GOACAN has further urged the Assistant Director of Transport Mapusa to depute a representative for the site inspection scheduled for Monday 15th November at 11 am
Meanwhile the deputy director of Urban Development Vivek K. Naik in a letter to the Chief Officer Mapusa Municipal Council has requested the mapusa municipal council to examine the GOACAN complaint with regards to encroachment of Passenger Seating area & access to Bus bay at Mapusa Bus Stand due to the construction of a Tea Stall permitted by KTCL and to submit a reply in 7 days.
