Balli PHC vaccinates over 10K individualsĀ

NAVELIM: Over 10,000 individuals have been vaccinated at the Balli Primary Health Centre (PHC) since the COVID vaccination drive commenced.
Reliable sources informed that approximately 285 Health Care Workers (HCW), 499 Front Line Workers (FLW), 3,216 senior citizens above 60 years and 2,743 individuals in the age group of 45-59 years with comorbidities were administered their first dose of the COVID vaccine. Another 139 HCW, 26 FLW, 800 senior citizens above 60 years and 1,581individuals in the 45-59 years age category with comorbidities received both COVID doses.Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā
While no pregnant mothers were vaccinated till date, approximately 74 lactating mothers have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine with another 241 parents with children below two years, 96 parents with children below five years, 119 parents with children below 10 years and 50 parents with children below 15 years being administered the first dose of the COVID vaccine.
Likewise, seven Divyangs, 28 seafarers and 804 individuals in the 18-44 years age category have all received their first COVID vaccine jabs, informed sources.
Interestingly, there have been no cases of malaria, dengue, chikungunya, etc. reported in 2020 and 2021 upto May at the Balli PHC.
