Siolim : Revolutionary Goans leader, Udesh Pangam alarms the people of Siolim ahead of Delilah Lobos political entry into the constituency. Recently Delilah, wife of Calangute MLA, Michael Lobo has made her intentions clear to contest the assembly polls from Siolim.
Udesh alleged that Calangute has turned into drug and prostitution destination with “blessings” of Lobo.
“Everyone knows how the drug trade is carried out on a large scale in Calangute constituency and how illegalities are being carried out under your guidance. You will try to create your migrant vote bank here and give them a free hand to carry out illegal businesses and encroach our land. The land in Parra and Arradi has been finished. The Baga- Calangute coastal belt has been entrusted into the hands of these migrants and now you are trying to do the same in Siolim,” said Udesh.
Revolutionary Goans have been exposing the facade of false promises and incessant corruption at the hands of Lobo and other MLA’s. He also hit out at Lobo for remarking that his agenda for Siolim is development and performance.
“A person who does not care for the people of his own constituency is giving fake assurances to the people of Siolim. You are speaking of development but what have you done in Calangute? Despite having a BJP MLA for the last 25 years Siolim has seen no development,” claims Udesh.
