Set up independent judicial committee to check Job scams in the state: North Goa district congress
The North Goa district congress committee has requested the chief secretary that an independent sound judicial committee should be immediately appointed to see the job scams and all those who are appointed should immediately be kept on suspension till they are cleared by the committee
A delegation comprising of North Goa District Congress committee President Vijay L Bhike, Ex MLA n GPCC VP Agnelo Fernandes,and other office bearers, Submitted a Memorandum to Chief Minister office ,Chief Secretary Govt of Goa and Election Commission office Panjim Other Congress office bearers present were General secretary Adv. Amit Sawant- Vice President adv. Meghashyam Raut-General Secretary Saligao block Bholanath Ghadi- General secretary youth congress Saish Aroskar- secretary GPCC Nasir Baig-, GPCC secretary uday Salkar- siolim youth congress president Adv. Roshan Chodankar saligao block congress president Atul Naik, Youth North Goa District President Vivek Dsilva
Speaking to reporters North Goa district committee president Vijai bhike said that several Goans have lost their jobs and the income of 90 percent of families was reduced during the COVID 19 pandemic and now these MLA’s are asking for bribes
“the Job scam which is taking place in the PWD department, directorate of accounts department, and other departments is a serious issue and there is a need to take action and immediately a high level commitee should be appointed to review all the candidates who have been appointed during this period on account of their capability if they are eligible for the said post” said bhike
speaking Further former calangute MLA Agnelo feerndes said that according to the statement of an MLA who is part of the ruling government he has specifically stated the PWD minister deepak Pauskar along with other MLA’s of the government were have been selling posts conducting manipulated exams and leaving deserving candidates unemployed
the BJP MLA’s as well as the chief minister himself continues to sell Government jobs in the state leaving the meritorious students frustrated and the government is committed to selling Jobs and compromising with the future of the goan youth. the Narendra modi Government had promised 1 crore jobs every year during the election campaigns but the employment rate in the country is reaching and all time high” Agnelo fernandes further said
