Republican party supports Congress
PANAJI: The All India Republican Party has extended their support to the Congress Party to defeat BJP in assembly elections.
Congress Senior observer P. Chidambaram , AICC Incharge Dinesh Gundu Rao, GPCC President Girish Chodankar, All India Republican Party National President Adv. Anand Surve, State President Dyaneshwar and others were present on the occasion.
Chodankar said that AIRP has active members in Mandre, Pednem, Thivim and Aldona constituencies. “ They have supporters in other constituencies too, which will help Congress to win the seats.” Chodankar said.
Girish Chodankar said that all should unite and form one platform to defeat BJP. “This has become important, as people have suffered in the BJP’s regime. It is necessary to send BJP home for a better future for Goa.” He said.
Dyaneshwar said that they are supporting Congress to defeat BJP. “Congress is a secular party and has always worked for the people of Goa. In BJP’s rule people are suffering. Hence there is a need to send BJP home.” He said.
He said that Babasaheb Ambedkar Bhavan should come into reality in Goa and hence they have placed demand with Congress.
Rao said that AIRP will work with Congress in all constituencies. “Their voices will be heard and will consider their demands and fulfill them. We will take care of all sections of society.”
