BJP candidates getting good response from the people during campaigning: CM

Saligao: chief minister Dr Pramod Sawant said that the BJP candidates are getting a good response from the campaigning in all the 40 constituencies and expressed his confidence of the BJP getting absolute majority in the upcoming assembley elections

i have been personally monitoring the campaigning and i am sure that from the way we are working we will get full majority” said sawant

when questioned as to what he had to say about Micheal Lobo’s exit from the BJP and joining the congress and now criticising the BJP chief minister said that many of such type of leaders are known for getting dreams to conquer everything and added that the people of Mapusa and Bardez should know what they want and there is no need of this kind of a self-proclaimed leader to tell the people what to do

“the people know what the BJP has done and there is no need to listen to the so called self proclaimed leader who is travelling the whole state speaking ill about the BJP as the people know the kind of destruction he has done ” said sawant

when questioned about the opposition parties accusing the BJP in certain section of the media of misusing government machinery to sabotage the opposition campaign fearing defeat to this chief minister said that allegations made by the opposition parties were totally baseless

“if that was the case then the opposition should know that some of the BJP candidates have also received notices for misusing government machinery ” said sawant
