Saligao: Congress Candidate for Saligao constituency Kedar naik said that the congress party will emerge victorious in Saligao with a thumping lead as people have shown their faith in congress party and their candidate .
Naik was speaking to reporters after filing his nomination for Saligao constituency with election returning officer at mapusa as congress candidate for Saligao constituency he was accompanied by a large number of supporters
“I have been a grass root level worker and i have seen that most of the people have suffered problems at the grass root level related to water or even electricity and we will try and solve most of the problems of the people at the grass root level said naik adding that he is getting a very good response from the people during his campaign as he is welcomed by the people” said Naik.
“we have been doing a lot of work of the people and oir door to door meetings as well as corner meetings are getting a good response also lot of supporters are joining our party and I am confident that congress will win in Saligao” naik further said reacting to the allegations made by the saligao MLA over the distribution of money in Saligao to lure voters naik said that the allegations made are false and baseless opposition candidate knows very well that he does not have the support of the people and so he is trying to level false allegations and inspite of being an MLA for the last five years he only boasted about his developement works when the works were not even completed said naik adding that that it didi not augur well for the MLA to speak like that”if he feels we are distributing money then he should have complained against us with the election commission” said Naik.
