Goa Boxing Coach Lenny D’Gama & Former national footballer Denzil Franco resigned from the trinamool congress and joined the Indian National congress
Franco along worth a lare number of youth was welcomed into the party by former Calangute MLA Michael obo and saligao Congress candidate kedar naik.
“This party had promised us a lot and so we gave up our sporting carriers to join the TMC for developement but in the last three months the kind of treatment that was given to us by this party was pathetic ” said Franco.
I moved out of my sports career for my Saligao constituency to do development for the constituency and joined TMC because I felt the party would bring a “New Dawn” as promised by them. However with what has been happening in the party for the last 15 days and what happened in the last 24 hours, my supporters and well wishers came to me and told me that this party is not the right place for me. They said I would not be able to to anything for the constituency by staying on in this party.
