PANAJI: Aldona Congress candidate Adv Carlos Alvares Ferreira received a further boost to his election campaign after the motorcycle taxi pilots and rickshaw operators from Aldona extended their support to him.
In their interaction with Adv Ferreira on Tuesday, the motorcycle taxi pilots and rickshaw operators expressed the problems faced by them and issues that have been neglected over the years.
The operators said that they lack a proper stand and a public toilet facility as well as other amenities which need to be made available.
Adv Ferreira assured to take up these issues on priority.
“Such basic needs of the common man cannot be neglected,” Adv Ferreira said.
While thanking Adv Carlos for his assurance, the motorcycle taxi pilots and rickshaw operators expressed confidence in him and assured to support him to ensure his victory.
