The presence of former Calangute MLA Michael Lobo in the campaigning at Saligao will not affect the winning prospects of BJP’s Jayesh Salgaonkar as the people of Saligao have reposed their faith in Salgaonkar and will vote for him and he will emerge victorious this time in the upcoming elections the saligao BJP block has stated
addressing a news conference at Mapusa president of the Saligao BJP block Ramesh Ghadi said that the group formed under the banner of together for saligao is only for personal interests
“this group called together for saligao could actually be termed as together for Michael as the group has all the requisite support from Michael lobo” said Ghadi
“we have noticed that this group called together for saligao and togather for bardez which has the backing of Lobo has been receiving a poor response from the people during the campaigning which shows that the wave is towards the BJP” said Ghadi
We are loyal to the party and BJP cadre will never betray and their loyalty will remain forever with party. We whole heartedly support our candidate Jayesh Salgaonkar” said Ghadi
former sarpanch of VP Guirim and North Goa Zp mber prakash naik and north Goa ZP member said that he got a chance to become the first sarpanch of Guirim under the BJP and added that BJP had done everything for the betterment of Guirim and questioned as to why did Lobo leave the party to join another party if he was really a loyal supporter of the BJP
“ever since i joined the BJP I have been a loyal supporter of the BJP and also got a chance to be a sarpanch of Guirim with the backing of the BJP and till today i have been the loyal supporter of the party and have not changed my party but here is an MLA who took all the benefits of the party and finally quit the party ” said naik.
