Mapusa carnival committee will organise its annual Carnival festival beginning from Saturday. This year the festival has a lots of events lined up. The float parade will be held on Tuesday

the four days cultural event which will begin on 26th and end on the 1st of march will includ DJ music and songs by different bands .This year the float parade will start from the old asilo old age home and make its way towards the market side and finally end at the venue near the Bodgeshwar temple which is the the festival venue. this year the float parade will be flagged of by former superintendent of Police Fintan Dsouza and after that the progamme will go on as decided

The committee which is appointed to celebrate the festival includes Sitaram Sawal as the chairman, Subraj kanekar as the secretary, and Smita fal dessai as the treasurer.
