Rotary club of Mhapsa Elite* organized an *all Goa Elite 5-a-side Futsal Tournament on 6th March 2022 at Nagoa Futsal Arena. A total of *24 teams* participated from North Goa and South Goa and over 140 players played during the tournament. The tournament kick started at 10.30 am and the finals concluded at 8pm.
The first prize was Rs. 30,000/- and 2nd prize was Rs. 20,000/- including trophies for best striker, best defender and best goalkeeper of the tournament.
The prize distribution ceremony was graced by *Rtn. Raja Melvani* (assistant governor, RID 3170), *Shri. Samir Naik* (Indian former professional footballer and the coach of Dempo SC in the Goa Professional League) and chief guest *Rtn. Jonathan Fernandes* (Managing Director
Horizon Land Developments Pvt Ltd.).
This was a fund-raiser event and the proceeds will be used towards community service projects. Thanks to all our sponsors who made this event a successful one. The winners were Boom Boom boys and runners up were Jagareshwar boys.
