Newly elected MLA of siolim constituency Delilah lobo said that she will strive to make siolim a model constituency in Bardez by providing good quality roads and also solving the problem of water shortage troubling the people of the constituency
Madam Delilah Lobo was speaking to reporters at the sidelines of the hotmixing of roads from Siolim upto Assagao besides lobo also present were Marna Siolim Sarpanch Sharmila Vernekar, Deputy Sarpanch William Fernandes , Panch members Sylvester Fernandes, panc member Monali Agarwadekar and the villagers.
it was a long pending demand of the people that the hotmixing works of the road had to be taken up as the road was in a dilapidated condition due to the formation of potholes making it difficult for the two wheeler riders to ride on this stretch. so paying heed to the grievances of people madam Delilah lobo initiated the works much before being elected as the MLA of siolim and after constant follow ups with the contactor the hotmixing works finally commenced
“such kind of developemt works in siolim village will continue and i request the people of siolim to support me in doing more developement for the next five years and we will strive to make siolim a model constituency” said Lobo
Marna siolim sarpanch Sharmila Vernekar congratulated newly elected sarpanch for undertaking the works of hotmixing of road as the road was in a dilapidated condition
we are optimistic that in the future more such developemntal works will be undertakn by madam Delilah lobo for the good of the people of this constituency and we pray to the almighty to keep her in good health to undertake more developement in the future ” said vernekar
panch member sylvester Fernandes also congratulated and thanked madam Delilah Lobo for undertaking the works of the hotmxing of road three of four days after getting elected as the MLA of siolim constiuency as this road was in a dilapidated condition.
