Over the issue of the lack of proper toilets and sanitation facility the delegation of merchants pointed out to the chairperson Shubanghi vaigankar that the public toilet near hotel Shantadurga is completely out of order now for couple of years requiring urgent repair and renovation. The delegation also pointed out that the other toilet at matki bazar is also not in a good state and most of the time found closed due to lack of water. The delegation pointed out that the lack of proper toilet and sanitation facility is making it difficult for the surrounding merchants staff and general public.
“We kindly request you to make the toilet facility functional as soon as possible” Said President of Mapusa merchants association Shripad sawant
with regards to repair of roads in the market the delegation of mapusa market association has requested the chairperson to undertake urgent repair and maintenance of all the internal roads and also told the chairperson that all potholes needed to be identified and properly filled.
“We request you to undertake proper hot mixing of all the roads before the monsoon season sawant further said.
With regards to desilting of gutters in the market the mapusa merchants association has requested the chairperson to have all the gutters in the market to be properly desilted of all the debris and plastic waste before the monsoon season so that there is no water clogging in the market during rainy season.
“We kindly request you to consider our demands and do the needful on urgent basis”sawant further said.
The new committee also expressed their sincere greetings and compliments towards the chairpersons office council and staff.
