The government’s resolve to eradicate TB from India from the year 2025 is being done through every health centre in the state to create awareness among the local people about tuberculosis said chief supervisor of TB awarness campaign Reshma Parab,adding that any case, they have to eradicate TB cases from the country by the coming year 2025, for which the cooperation of the local people is needed
Reshma Parab was speaking to the local media on Monday morning when an awareness on tuberculosis eradication was organised by the local health centre in the fish market area of Tarichi-Bhat from theatre junction.
Meanwhile, the World TB Eradication Fortnight is being observed across the world from March 24 to April 13, and as a part of this, awareness about TB is being spread on behalf of various programmes and initiatives at health centres across the state, Parab said, adding that the central staff is going from door to door to inform the local people about it . On this occasion, a TB awareness round was conducted on behalf of the siolim Health Centre, Dr Shruti Narvekar of Health Centre and other fellow officers were present.
