A complaint has been lodged with the Calangute police station that a total of ten two wheelers of life guards personnel parked in an open space at Bamonvaddo candolim were burnt by unknown persons in the early hours of Wednesday.

Meanwhile, taking cognizance of the complaint, Calangute police immediately rushed to the spot and conducted a panchnama of the incident. Meanwhile, the Calangute police said they would soon search for the suspect after they saw an unidentified burqa-clad man setting the two-wheelers on fire at 3.30 am after going through nearby CCTV footage.

According to the life guards there were around twenty-five to thirty migrant workers who were working working as security life guards in the coastal village of candolim in a reputed company and were living in private rooms in the area and after returning from work at night, they had park their two-wheelers in a nearby open space so that they can be on the shore but later on after coming to the spot they found that their two wheelers were burnt
