Siolim MLA Delilah Lobo said that every day is a learning process in the field of education and add that that it is only through education that the students can become refined and cultured
Lobo was speaking to parents after inaugrating the summer vacation courses for the students organised by the Shankleshwar women mandal various types of classes ranging from drawing, craft, clay, dance, and music classes in Tabla and Harmonium will be taught to the students from the age of 5 to 16 years at this camp. Besides MLA Delilah also present for the camp were president of the siolim women’s wing congress Block president Parvati Nagvekar, Teacher Narayan Ratwad and others.
“I wish the teachers all the very best as they will be spending their precious time in imparting the skills to students at this camp and i urge the students to please co-operate with the teachers” said Lobo she urged the parents to also acquire knowledge while their children also get training in their respective schools
“there are also other villages in siolim constituency where in such kind of courses can be introduced and it will be done after the end of the election code of conduct which will be inforce due to the upcoming panchayat elections ” Lobo further said and wished the children all the very best and to take full advantage of the camp.
Teacher Narayan Ratwad also spoke to the students and gave them useful tips towards improving their education and also improving their lifestyle through the practicse of Yoga.
