Residents of Dhuler in Mapusa have lodged a complaint with the health officer of the urban health Centre against garbage and dirty waste water which is accumulated in the drain there by creating inconvenience and nuisance and can also give rise to many vector borne diseases
In his complaint a resident Pravin Asolkar had pointed put that the drainage adjacent to the fish market has been blocked and the waste and dirty water is stagnated at many places which has become a breeding place for mosquitoes and flies creating a health hazard and could give rise to many vector borne diseases like Dengue and Malaria. The copies of the complaint were also submitted to the deputy collector and SDO Mapusa , Mapusa MLA and also to the chief officer of the Mapusa Municipal council. As per the complaint received from Pravin Asolkar against garbage and dirty water thereby causing great inconvenience and nusicance health officer of the urban health centre Mapusa has requested the Mapusa municipal council to conduct a joint inspection on the 16th of May at 11.00 am and to also depute the officer for the same.
