The state level Savitribai Phule Sahitya Bhushan Award in the field of literature given by Marathi Sahitya Mandal, Maharashtra was recently given to Bhavarth Mandrekar, 
a historian from Goa in Thane, Maharashtra. Mandrekar has been given this prestigious award for his book “Advitiy Ransangram” based on Indian National History.
The award was presented to Mandrekar by Bharat Sasane, President of the 95th All India Marathi Sahitya Sammelan held at Udgir, Maharashtra.
Dr. Jayaprakash Ghumatkar, National President of Marathi Mandal, Senior Poet Prof. Ashok Bagwe, senior poetess Lalita Gawande and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
Professional and senior social activists from Goa Ashok Redkar, Satyawan Mandrekar and Rakesh Yadav attended this prestigious event in Thane.
Bhavarth Mandrekar is being congratulated from all walks of life for receiving this prestigious award of Maharashtra Governments, Marathi Sahitya Mandal.
