Lobo was speaking as the chief guest in the special health camp organized by siolim Marna panchayat in association with the the local health center held in the premises of the panchayat
The free health  camp comprised of General health check, child care check up, BP check up and blood sugar check up. As part of the camp a free breast cancer detection especially fpr the women of siolim constituency was organised by the panchayat. present for the cmap besides Delilah also present for the cmap were Sarpanch of siolim marna Sharmila Vernekar and others
“In order to prevent the incidences of breast cancer in women indian Cricketer Yuvraj Singh has set up a trust to control the disease by organizing free village-to-village diagnostic camps by qualified specialists” said siolim MLA Delilah Lobo
early detection of the disease is very improtant so that treatment for the disease can start earley rather than getting treatment in the later stages so keeping this in mind we took this initiative to organise such a camp for the benefit of the villagers” Lobo further said
A similar camp were also be organized at other villages of the constituency wherein a number of people took benefit of the camp and were checked for various ailments and we received a very good response Lobo further said
