Children of Keri New English High School taking lessons on filmmaking

Film culture has not yet developed in Goa. If students from rural areas like Keri learn the skills of film making, it will be an important step in the development of Goa’s cinematography, asserted Tamil film director Shahid at Keri Pedne.
A workshop on film production was inaugurated by New English High School in Keri today under the theme ‘ New Vocation for New Generation.’ Mr Shahid was speaking on this occasion.
Shahid will guide a group of 12 school children on how to make a film in the workshop organized by the school under Life Skills Education.
Shahid himself has been in the field of direction for the past twenty years. He has successfully produced Tollywood films, Documentary films, and Web series.
Shahid will give the necessary guidance in this workshop and at the end of this workshop, the children will write their own stories , script and create short films.
