Former sarpanch of calangute Joseph sequeira 
who has floated the Togather We can achieve panel for the upcoming panchayat elections has expressed his confidence that at least 9 candidates from that panel will be elected to the calangute Panchayat
Sequeira was speaking to reporters after filing his nomination from ward no 7 for the calangute VP. The panel floated by sequeira is which going to contest in all the eleven wards in calangute village.
The people are confident that the candidates from this panel will try and work for the betterment of the village and although we could get all the members elected in the last elections this time the people will put their faith in us as they know that we can achieve”said sequeira
Sequeira also criticised the members fomer panel with the support of the MLA promoted all the ills in the village and also introduced the ODP for the village and wanted to destroy the fields and the beach which is the beauty of the village
