Sauntavaddo defeated Gauravaddoo 2 0 in the final of the inter-ward football tournament organised by Calangute Association held at Poriat ground on Friday
It was sauntavaddo who dominated the game in the first half of the match with some good attacking style of football and Pedro scored for Sauntavddo to give them the lead with a spendid strike from close range Later after three Sauntavaddo equalised through- a -fine- goal by Alber who again scored from a close range for sauntavaddo. Naikavaddo strikers tried best to find a goal but the resilient defending by Sauntavaddo thwarted their attempts on Goal and the scores were levelled till half time . In the second half pedro scored for Sauntavaddo with his attacking style of football after he made a deep run with the ball instead of just keeping possession giving them a 2 goal lead and finally Sauntavaddo eventually winning the match for Sauntavaddo
