Tourism minister rohan Khaunte said that while celebrating our Independence, it is also important for us to remember the horrors that people went through during partition.
Rohan Khaunte was speaking after inaugurating an exhibition titled “Partition Horrors Remembrance Day” on Sunday at Mapusa.
The exhibition organised by State government displays the pictures clicked during the partition. Deputy Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly Joshua De Souza was also was also present on the occasion.
This exhibition was to share information about the partition, said khaunte adding that the people were divided on religious ground during partition,
