Spontaneous response of the students to the workshop organized on Scientific Temper in Keri
Science is behind everything that happens in the universe. Everyone needs to question to understand that science. Questioning is a sign of everyone’s vitality. The future is bright for those who have questions and understand how to answer those questions, asserted Goa Science Forum President Somu Rao at Keri Pedne.
Rao was speaking from the dais as the keynote speaker of a workshop on Scientific Temper for school students at the auditorium of New English High School, Keri.
Rao further said that there is no such thing as unnatural forces in this world. As there are only natural forces in this world, students need to develop a scientific attitude in themselves.
Along with Mr Rao, Jayant Samant, Uday Nagvekar and Headmaster Bhavarth Mandrekar were present on the stage for the workshop.
In this workshop, the scientific approach, as well as the experiments of science, how superstition and ignorance lead people to fall prey to the words of hypocrites. He made the students aware of this by presenting actual experiments.
At the beginning of the program Bhavarth Mandrekar welcomed and introduced the dignitaries. While, Alfred Rodriguez propose vote of thanks.
