*Children of New English Primary School Keri visited Neha Arts and Pottery Studio*

Students of New English Primary School in Keri Pedne visited Neha Arts and Pottery Studio in Palaye today.

Our culture is a culture of relationship with the soil. In the world of learning technology, today’s children are forgetting their relationship with the soil. The school organized this special study tour with the aim of connecting them with the soil and understanding the richness of our cultural heritage.

During this time, the children experienced first hand how to make various pottery items and idols from clay. Saw the display of items that were used in ancient times. The studio showed how the kneaded clay is placed on the wheel to shape the object, after which the children also experienced how the finished object is baked in the kiln and processed.

Children from class 1 to 4 participated enthusiastically in this activity. The children spent their time enjoying nature. School teachers Saloni Harji, Diksha Mangaonkar, Reshma Parab, Sonali Vast, Mahima Chari, Namrata Aajgaonkar were present at that time.
