An inspection of the water storage facility was carried out by newly elected sarpanch of calangute Joseph sequeira in the presence of AE PWD Kenaudekar and panch members of calngute VP.
It may be noted that the Work on the facility comprising of two tanks, one above the other, had started in late 2018 and was to be completed in six months. However, it was kept on hold because existing water supply was not adequate to fill up the new tanks in addition to the old tank located in the same area.
