Provide proper facilities to government employees before giving them ‘compulsory retirement: north Goa district Congress
the North goa district Congress committee has condemned the decision of the state to initiate action against erring government employees by giving ‘compulsory retirement’. The party spokesperson Sanjay barde has stated that the government should first provide better services to the Government employees in their offices before even thinking about giving compulsory retirement
it may be recalled that the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant had recentely stated that action would be taken against such employees and it would be applicable to all government offices. and they would compulsorily, have to go home retirement
addressing a news conference at Mapusa congress spokesperson Sanjay Barde said that the state government should have first done a proper scrutiny of the employees to be taken for government job to ascertain whether they can perform or not and only then they should have recruited them which has not been done
“we have also noticed that most of the government employees have not been provided with proper job facilities so how will they perform? questioned Barde
Barde further suggested to the government that before thinking about giving compulsory retirement to the erring staff they should first be provided with proper facilities and only then the staff will perform
” we are of the opinion that action should be taken against the erring government staff but before that I want to ask the government and especially chief minister Dr Pramod sawant as to whether they have provided the necessary facilities to the government employees at their respective work places or even departments ” Barde further said
