As a part of the Ongoing Seva Pakhwada a Cleanliness & Awareness Drive to keep the Surrounding Area Clean was carried out in presence of Saligao MLA Kedar Naik, BJP President Sadananad Tanavade, Pilerne Sarpanch Reshma Bandodkar, Dy.Sarpanch Ajay Govekar, other Panch Members & Villagers of Pilerne.

The Drive was held from Mall de Goa to Nova Cidade Complex, NH17 Highway Stretch in Pilerne Village. Also as part of the Gandhi jayanti celebrations calangute panchayat paid rich floral tributes by garlanding the photo frame of late mahatma Gandhi also present were sarpanch of calangute Joseph sequeira. Earlier a cleanliness drive was organised by the panchayat followed by a coconut tree sapling plantation drive
