Umtavaddo defeated Khobravaddo 3-0 vie tie breaker in second quaterfinal of the inter-ward football tournament organised by Calangute panchayat held at Poriat ground on Monday
In a keenly contested match, both the  teams had an equal number of scoring opportunities in the first half  and Umtavaddo  strikers tried hard to score but the resilient defending by khobravaddo defenders thwarted thier attempts on goal and both the teams did not manage to score in the first half again in the second half khobravaaddo strikers tried hard to score but the  rock solid defence  by Umtavaddo thwarted their attempts on Goal and both the teams were locked 0 -0 till full time which eventually had to be decided with tie breakers. umtavaddo eventually won the match through tie breakers
