Gauravaddo B defeated khobravaddo 6- 5 vie the tie breaker in the dramatic final of the inter-ward football tournament organised by Calangute panchayat held at Poriat ground on Saturday .
In a keenly contested match, that was witnessed by a large crowd both the  teams had an equal number of scoring opportunities in the first half. Even though the Gauravaddo strikers found some great form they could not score any goal. The Gauraovdkars entirely dominated the game in the first half keeping good possession of the ball but their strikers could not score and the same was with khobravddo as well, even though they had some good strikers and kept ball possession they failed to score and the first half ended with neither of the teams scoring. In the second half Gauravaddo again managed to keep ball posession but they could not find any goal due to some good goal keeping by Khobravaddo goal keeper. even though the Khobravddo strikers made deep runs into towards the Gauravaddo Goal and tried to find goals but the resilient defending by Gauravaddo thwarted their attempts on goal and the match ended without any goal till full time . The match had to be decided on tie breakers, which was won by Gauravaddo.
