FDA officials shut down the premises of Punjabi kitchen bar and restaurant in calangute with respect to an alleged food poisoning case
On receipt of a complaint a team of FDA officials comprising of SFSO Rajaram Patil, FSO Madhav kavlekar and FSO Bhakti walke inspected the premises of Punjabi kitchen bar and restaurant at calangute the Investigation was done and Spot inspection report was issued and sample of water and curry was drawn and the premise has been shut down till further orders due to unhygienic conditions.
Meanwhile in another raid the M/S Rohit Hotel located at porvorim was Inspected by the FDA officials and spot Inspection report was issued and the officials were directed to stop the food business activities. This is the same premises wherein a video of cockroach in samosa was going rounds on social media. Further, bhel puri stall at Saligao was also directed to shut down as they were operating without FSSAI license.
