Calangute MLA Michael lobo has said that a quick Response team 4×4 incase of Fire should be set up on the beaches of Goa and said that he will write to CM and Tourism department.
Lobo was speaking to reporters at a fire incident which occurred at calangute beach wherein two shacks were gutted in the fire causing an estimated loss of around 80 lakhs
From calangute to baga and candolim a four by four vehicle carrying foams and small unit of water should be placed on many of the prominent beaches and also on the other beaches where there are a lot of shacks and restaurants have to come up there cos any catastrophe can occur anytime or even a restaurant” said lobo
I will write to the government tourism department or even the fire force and director fire services that immediately a quick response team should be set up from calangute to baga and sinquerim
