In order to provide proper lighting to the people of Gauravddo west a new high mast power lamp has been erected by the calangute panchayat
The high mast lamp was inaugurated by Senior Citizen Gabriel Fernandes in the presence of calangute sarpanch Joseph sequeira, deputy sarpanch geeta parab, Panchayat Secretary Arjun Velip, panch members sapnesh vaigankar, savio Gonsalves, and others. The high mast has been erected at a cost of rs 4.3 lakhs.

Addressing the gathering calangute sarpanch Joseph sequeira said that with the launch of high mast lamp most the people will be able to get better illumination while going towards the beach and to control the nuisance.
