Mapusa Sub-Divisional Officer and Deputy Superintendent Jivba Dalvi appealed to the Police to inform and cooperate if anyone is found selling or consuming drugs in hotels, restaurants, pubs or shacks.
Deputy Superintendent Jivba Dalvi while guiding them in a meeting of clubs, hotels, shacks and restaurant businessmen in Hanjun police station said that despite conducting anti-narcotics awareness programs in most of the schools, colleges and other places of our division, it is sad that incidents of drug sale and consumption are happening. feel Just like selling drugs is a crime, consuming them is also a crime. If anyone is trying to do that, they should inform the police, Jeeva Dalvi said.
The meeting was attended by Inspector Prashal Desai, Sub-Inspector Sahil Warang, Sub-Inspector Francis Xavier and more than fifty businessmen.
Inspector Prashal Desai said that bit officers and constables of our police station will visit every hotel, club, shack and restaurant, if anyone is found doing anti-narcotics activities, they should be informed, anonymity will be maintained.
