Two persons hailing from Nepal were arrested on Friday for allegedly raping a Russian woman
According to police upon the complaint of the complainant/victim lady an offence was registered On 01.12.2022 resort at Calangute and the accused 1) Sakil Ansari @Salman s/o Jhira Jalaha, age 23 years and 2) Sahimuddin Ansari s/o Abdul Ali Jalaha, age 22 years both r/o n/o Bardiya Nepal who are the employees room boys of hotel in calangute with their common intention had a sexual intercourse with the complainant/victim lady without her consent, thereby committed rape.
The complainant/victim lady is a Russian National had come down to Goa yesterday and was residing in hotel along worh other where she was sexually exploited by hotel room boys
Both the above accused person were instantly traced and placed under arrest and presently in Police Custody. Further investigation is in progress with LPSI Miss Pragati Malik under the Supervision of PI Shri Dattaguru K Sawant and SDPO Porvorim Shri Vishvesh Karpe under the overall supervision of SP-North Shri Nidhin Valsan, IPS.
