The dance bar and club of owners in Goa, who are in the eye of a controversy after the locals and panchayat, along with MLA launched a drive against illegalities
, on Wednesday threatened to move court against MLA Michael Lobo and Sarpanch Joseph sequeira .
Addressing the media, the dance bar and club owners claim they are doing legal business per the court’s order.
“there is nothing illegal in our business and they can come and check I feel that they are only trying to do politics the issue ,” said rupin singh owner of the dance bar .
The dance bar owners have thrown an open challenge to MLA and sarpanch, and the media to come and check if any illegal activities are going on in their clubs and then jump to conclusion
The dance bar ownes sad that goa should not be misrepresented before tourists and anyone doing illegalities must be punished they said and added that no one can take law in their hands
it may be recalled that Calangute panchayat member along with some others allegedly assaulted a worker at a ‘dance bar’ .An offence had also been registered under sections of the IPC. the video of the assault had gone viral on social media

“We are also Goans and have been doing business for at least 10-12 years now,” said another dance bar owner
