Inmates of Street providence have given some solace to the villagers by undertaking a cleanliness drive

Inmates of Street providence have given some solace to the villagers by undertaking a cleanliness drive near Gavar near Power Sub station in the jurisdiction of Nachinola Panchayat. The drive began at 9.30 am and concluded at 12.45 pm a solid 3 hour drive and collected 30 bags of garbage. Passerby thanked the inmates while passing by the route seeing the street providence doing garbage drive. One of them said, “We see them on street and we says ‘shee’ and go away but street providence have given them new life and they are now cleaning our garbage and they should says ‘shee’ for dumping garbage in open spaces”. He also said that people must now stop thowing garbage here and keep surrounding clean.
On knowing this cleanliness drive, Sarpanch of Nachinola Panchayat Freddy Fernandes visited them and thanked them for cleaning the area. He also provided them with snacks and appealed to all not to throw the garbage again. ” I Thank street providence and its staffs for coming here and cleaning our garbage. I also appeal to all not to throw garbage again and and keep place clean”
Speaking to media Staff of Street Providence Abhijit Naik said, ” We have come to Gavar Aldona where there was garbage hotspot with our inmates of 5 and did the garbage cleanliness drive. We began at 9.30 and concluded at 12.30 pm. Total 30 bags were collected which included plastic and dry garbage”. Naik appealed to all not to throw garbage in open and keep the place clean. he said that inmates of Street Providence have done cleanliness drive and that people need to keep the place clean and make value of our drive. He also said that Street Providence is ready to come and clean any such garbage hotspot any time.
