FIGHT TO SAVE GOA’S LIFELINE MHADEI WILL BE TAKEN TO EVERY NOOK AND CORNER OF THE STATE: CONGRESS
The Congress party in Goa announced that it will stand by the people of the state in fighting to protect Goa’s rights over riverMhadei.
The campaign will commence on sunday, January 15th, 2023, at Ustea, Valpoi at 10.15 am with the filling of Kalashs of water from River Mahadei.
The party will Cover three constituencies each day from the 15th to 21st, creating awareness of the Mahadei issue amongst the people. A kalash of water will be kept in each constituency as a symbolic reminder of the urgent need for us to protect and safeguard Goa’s traditional A 72%

At a press conference held on Saturday the Congress party leaders appealed to the people of Goa to unite irrespective of political affiliations or any other divisions and turn out in large numbers to fight this battle together to save our river Mhadei, which is one of Goa’s major and crucial lifelines.
Goa Congress party General Secretary Vijay L Bhike has announced an awareness campaign that will be taken to every nook and corner of the state to mobilise the people to fight this critical battle for Goa’s survival.
