Aldona MLA distributes Laadli Laxmi letters
Aldona: Aldona MLA Adv Carlos Alvares Ferreira on Saturday distributed 69 sanction letters under the Laadli Laxmi scheme to the beneficiaries.
He thanked the government for speeding up the process to sanction the letters.
“I had raised the issue during the recent assembly session that the government is indulging in event management and spending money, and has no funds for welfare schemes like Laadli Laxmi, Griha Adhaar, and DSSS that are meant for the people. The CM responded to my question by stating that all dues will be cleared by March 31. Subsequently, 69 sanction letters have been approved by the government. I thank the government for speeding up the process. It is not right to keep the disbursal of money pending,” he said.
