He was speaking after unveiling the plaque for the development and strengthening of pond at britto vaddo parra besides lobo also present were sarpanch of parra chandu harmalkar, deputy sarpanch Daniel lobo, president of parra attorney of communidade Benedict dsouza and others.
Most of the ponds in the village were in a dilapidated condition and so the need was felt to improve the condition of the ponds as they are used for ganesh immersion.

This is also a touristic area some area as a number of tourists visit this place a lot of people take their memories from here foreign tourists as well Indian tourists
This ponds need to be maintained and whatever support the communidade jas given is really great so we have to recognize what the communidade and panchayat has done and we need to do development and we need to plant new coconut trees and so the generation next will not get to see coconut trees let us beautify all this ponds and keep if for future generations
