Pilerne to celebrate Goa’s first ever inclusive Childrens Carnival.
After the hugely successful Matiechem Fest and the ongoing Pilerne Thursday heritage market, the village of Pilerne will be presenting another first ever children’s carnival in the village
A three day workshop will commence on the 13th of February, from 7pm onwards. Workshop will include mask making with artist Vaibhav Salgaonkar, music by Fr Derrick Fernandes parish priest of Pilerne, dance with local artist etc.
” Please bring your Ghumots, kottieos, newspapers to make masks, scissors, glue, etc also inviting children from all religions from every village and your friendly neighbourhood to participate and together let’s put Pilerne on the world map once again” said Festakar Marius Fernandes
