Calangute veterans started the first half with a cautious approach and created a lot of chances and kept good ball possession and the strikers made deep runs into the Just fitness defence this helped them to find some good form and calangute veterans opened the scoring in the 10th minute of the match through their striker Francisco colaco giving calangute veterans the lead again the calangute veterans players found some great form and tried hard to score and they managed to score the second goal through Alvito D’cunha again in the 12th minute of the match again Francisco colaco scored in the 14th minute and giving calangute veterans the 3rd goal taking full advantage of the defensive blunders of the Just fitness veterans. The Just fitness veterans tried hard to score but their attempts on goal were in vain and the first half ended with calangute veterans leading by 3 goals.
In the second half it was full dominance again by calangute veterans as their strikers found some great form and they tried make deep runs into the resilient defence of the just fitness their strikers missed many chances due to some good saves by the Just fitness veterans . the missed chances boosted the morale of the calangute players and they managed to score the fourth goal through Vijai parsekar in the 26th minute of the match in the second half there was no dominance of the game by the just fitness veterans in the second half and they failed to keep ball possession and made a lot of defensive blunders and the match finally ended with calangute veterans winning by 4 goals former badminton player Padma kumar nair was the chief guest for the match and gave away the man of the match award to striker of Just fitness player to Suresh mangueshkar
