District Governor MJF Lion Suggala Yelamali along with her husband MJF Lion Sanjay Yelamali paid an official visit to the Lions Club of Calangute. They Visited Clubs Permanent, Signature & Annual Projects. Financial Assistance was given to the old Aged home in Calangute at the hands of the District Governor.
President PMJF Lion Raies Ahmed Hakim welcomed the guest and others. Leo Club President Leo Abbas Haider read the Flag Salutation. Lions Club Secretary MJF Lion Raymond Pereira gave a report and brief the guest about the activities done by the club from July 2022 to till date.
The Club honored Past District Governor PMJF Lion Agnelo Alcasos, MJF Lion Vasudev Valawalkar, PMJF Lion Saish Lawande, MJF Lion Sasindrain Nair, and MJF Lion Dr. Ravi Nadgir also Clubs Past Presidents at the hands of the District Governor. The club inducted three new members, and induction officer 2ndVDG MJF Lion Manoj Manek gave them Lion Oath. The District Governor was very delighted to see the number of activities conducted by the Lions Club of Calangute. Project Chairman MJF Lion Illyas Rajabali gave a Vote of thanks. The function was adjourned for Entertainment, Fellowship, and Dinner. MJF Lion Tanvi Valawalkar & Leo Zainab Rajabali compared the function. The function was attended by 110+ lions from all over Goa and Karnataka at the Calangute Association Hall Calangute.
