according to the forum the Fondvem project which has been planned and being taken up for development at Khobravaddo will have many Effects on the Ecological balance of Village Environment. The Development of said project was commenced in the year 2021 and with the intervention of CCF alongwith the locals and
present Sarpanch and Ward Member put and stop to this unwanted development as the plan projected was not in the interest of Village Environment.
Today this project is taking shape with political blessings and a 3 mtrs wide Bund being planned surrounding the FONDVEM water reservoir which in fact not in the interest of Village Environment.
The said bund may give benefits to some builders lobby having a projects on the edge of this FONDVEM Reservoir” said president of the Forum Prem divkar
“We proposed to repair retaining wall instead of 3 mtrs wide Bund to maintain the Ecological balance of the Village and protect the area which was working to soak rain water of Calangute and recharge the ground water table” divkar further said
